Coupling Relationships between Sedimentary Microfacies, Sand Bodies, and Tectonic Fracture Characteristics in Braided River Deltas: A Case Study of the Bashijiqike Formation in the Keshen 2 Area

Fractures are crucial as main natural gas transport channels in tight sandstone reservoirs. In order to reveal the correlation between combination of fractures Block Keshen 2 and sandstone, we have collected drilling core data, logging curve imaging rock thin-section data from Bashjiqike Formation area, by classifying statistically analyzing different influencing factors fractures, established a development thickness, lithology, sedimentary microfacies. The results following: (1) frequent vertical superposition lateral migration occur sand bodies Bashijiqike Formation. Three types patterns been identified according changes Type I refers developed subaqueous distributary channels, type II secondary or mouth bars, III isolated channels; (2) three fracture described various including high–medium-angle branch-like patterns, medium-angle reticular fractures; (3) coupling relationship among microfacies, body has established. mainly develop underwater channel patterns. well Isolated can all microfacies but sporadically distributed within research present regularity fractured reservoirs, which be applied oil fields with same background, providing certain geological evidence for exploration development.
